Some people were concerned about the U.S. soldiers getting killed in Iraq and wanted the troops to be brought home. One person commented that the U.S. wasn't in the business of running other countries. The idea of letting the U.N. take over in Iraq got the most votes. Many people who voted for this idea thought that the U.S. needed help in Iraq. As you can see from the comments here, some people were concerned about how much staying in Iraq was costing the U.S. One person thought that if the U.N. helped in Iraq, other allies might also help there. Some people who thought the U.S. should keep control in Iraq also wanted the Iraqis to take over as soon as they could. Most comments from those who wanted the U.N. to get control agreed that the Iraqis should eventually govern their own country.
